Luckily we weren't impressed by the recessions and "only" took four pieces of cake with us. The apple pie was okay, the tarts were really good. The prices reasonable. Maybe the service should work a little faster, but luckily nobody waited behind me, otherwise I would have been uncomfortable that it took so long for my order to be packed. But just. Pies were really, really good. Tip: There were loud calls in the back shop, I suspect the owner. I have to recommend that you do not speak so loudly when there are customers in the house, that unfortunately does not make a good impression. And don't forget that guests don't need to know everything ...

The quality of the cakes and pies is consistently high and also tasty. In my opinion, the prices are set too high, so 1 star deduction. In particular, the location of the pastry shop is great.

Have breakfast here today: Beautiful location, nice service. The scrambled eggs were delicious and the rolls fresh. Anyone who knows and likes Italian cappuccino should not order a cappuccino here. Jams and yoghurt are standard products.

Great coffee right in the heart of the old town here is wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the sun with a wonderful piece of cake and a coffee. We got a piece of cake and a coffee 20 minutes before closing time, great service.

We went to the Leyhausen pastry shop for breakfast today. We can only advise against it. Sausage and cheese were the cheapest large-scale industrial goods. The rolls seemed to be baked rolls. The eggs I ordered, but they didn't even get to us, wanted We also no longer complain because we assumed that, in keeping with the quality of what is on offer, it can only be cage eggs. I don't want to write anything about the cappuccino. I would be really ashamed to serve something like that, it is not so difficult in the Odenwald to get good sausage, cheese, jam, honey ... from local manufacturers, the prices would allow it. Instead, to present 2 slices of molded ham, 6 slices of extremely fatty salami and 4 slices of imitation cheese for 25 euros is simply cheeky. Obviously you don't have to rely on regular customers. Think what you like about the waitress's spit guard, which only covers the eyes. Don't go!

If you can sit outside, right in front of the medieval town hall, it is a nice experience. The cake was great (raspberry cake, men's cake, yoghurt cake). The cappuccino wasn't barista quality, but it was drinkable. Nice careful waitress. It's not that quaint inside.

A really great café in the middle of the market square. The market place is absolutely worth seeing. The café has lots of delicious cakes. If you make a stopover in Michelstadt, then definitely stop there.

The food was ok / the ice cream was rather cheap supermarket ice cream / the waitress unfortunately didn't get a smile. The ice cream of my son had unfortunately fallen to the ground after the first spoon, whereupon a new one came unasked ... What we were only happy about - but then we saw on the bill that it was also charged twice with 8 euros ... (2 balls) think there is a better way to eat well and get rid of your money elsewhere.

Nicely located, friendly service, cake is delicious, but the coffee is a disaster. The price of the inedible coffee is also excessive.

Our wedding cake was from Café Leyhausen. Best decision! Very friendly advice and price / performance was great! I can only recommend it! The cake was incredibly tasty!

Promising from the outside. Unfortunately, the interior lacks the attention to detail and what is contemporary or historical fitting to the building. The warm dishes are not recommended the cakes are ok.

We ordered our wedding cake here. The cake was very good and tasted really good. Unfortunately, the advice in advance was not very good. With each demand we only got to hear "if you like it that way". That just does not help me to ask if something goes together. If you go with concrete wishes, that is great, but if you have no concrete ideas, then it is not helpful to get no choice or to get listed different flavors. Here was simply answered with a "The classic just". Big downside was that a delivery of the cake was not possible, although one could tick this on the order form and that also the flower deco had to be made on the cake itself. This has led to unnecessary stress on the wedding day itself and should actually be self-evident. But as I said the cake was delicious and in the end it depends only on it.

Occasionally quite dissatisfied, unfriendly service. Here the operators should finally take action. Maybe you do not need it anymore ?! :-) No recommendation!
